Apart from the tree called hazel and the hazel nuts, hazel as a colour has many meanings.
Everybody consider hazel as a mix of green and brown especially when they refer to the eye colour.
But I've found out in many dictionaries that it means light brown or reddish brown as a definition.
And wikipedia mentions that hazel eyes are mix of green+brown but sometimes it is considered light brown, because of the tree colour.
And even if you order coloured contact lenses, hazel is light brown.
So I guess I have no idea which to believe or to go with. Help people.
Thank you:)
Added (1). Baris thanks for your answer. My eyes are considered hazel brown as my optometrist and ophthalmologist said because they are light brown with some green so that's why I can't really guess which is it. I like this song too. Kelly Clarckson is amazing:)
Added (2). Yeah, I've heard she is like of Greek and Irish origins:)
