Super self conscious about no makeup?

Hi so I think I'm pretty ugly. I always wear a lot of makeup (looking back, too much- I will tone it down) but I think with makeup I look pretty cute. However, without makeup I look HORRIBLE. Can't even compare. It's awful. I am a Chem major and in one of my labs we can't wear any makeup. I'm mortified. Everyone has seen me with lots. I know I wear too much but I'm scared everyone will talk behind my back. Also, I wear green contacts ( I just like them) but evryone will see my brown eyes. I swear I'm not a shallow person I just feel so self- conscious and need some advice. What would you say if you saw someone look really different? Thanks
