Converting contact lens prescription to glasses prescription?

So I'm away at college for the next three weeks, and my glasses broke. Although I do have contacts left, I only have one extra pair. I'm afraid that I could run out, and then I'd be in trouble, so I'm ordering and rushing a pair to me from Coastal.

I only have my contacts prescription:

R: -5.25, -1.75, 180
BC 8.6 Dia 14.5

L: -1.75 -1.75 180
BC 8.6 Dia 14.5

I know it's not ideal to not go to a doctor, but it's an emergency.

L: -4.75, -1.75, 180

All other numbers are correct.

Why do people ALWAYS stare at me!

Okay, well I'll try to keep this short.
People treat me differently because of how I look… There's a picture for anyone about to ask.http://urluknown.tumblr.com/
I don't have many friends and everyone is so catty with me. I have magnified eyes and I'm worried that no one will take me seriously in the future. I'm also scared that I'll end up commiting suicide due to how bad I feel. I've tried thinking of how I could look, deformed..but in the long run, it never makes me feel any better. I don't have any other things wrong with me, so people just act weird with me.
It's really starting to effect me. I can't make eye contact. I seek advise from a friend who is quite large but has confidence.
I used to contact lenses, and looked stunning, but I found that they were uncomfortable and had to wear glasses again. I even had a boyfriend.
So, how do I deal with this? Not looking for attension.just want advise.
Forgot to add that people stare.
That is the only picture I have of myself.
No boys like me, they just use me as an ego boost.
I want to be a vet and this is what is keeping me strong for the moment.
Please don't even mention contact lenses, I do not get on with them!
I can't 'change' my glasses prescription either :(
Also, I have social anxiety on top of this..help!

My contacts burn my eyes? - 2

Whenever I put in my contacts, a few senconds after I put one in there is a strong burn in that eye.My eye waters like crazy.It happens to both eyes. There is NO tears or scratches in my contacts, I cleaned them well, i washed my hands, there was nothing on my hands. I'm positive there aren't scratches on my cornia because that hea;s over night, plus my right eye didn't burn yesterday but the left one did, now it's both. They weren't inside out, either. Why is this happening? Could it be my solution even though my eye doctor at the fitting for the contact lens said it doesn't burn at all? She was sure it wouldn't. I use bio true for solution. Does anyone know why my eyes keep buring when i put in my contacts? Thanks!

Why do my contacts hurt/itch?

I have Acuvue Oasis contacts and they have worked fine in my eyes for about a year and a half. But now every time I put a contact in my right eye, the bottom of my eye starts to itch/hurt a little bit from the contact. Any idea with what could be wrong?

If im 17, can i go to the optometrist by myself?

I want to get overnight correction lenses, but my parents are against all forms of contact lenses because they are super stubborn and ignorant (i didn't get glasses until my eyes were about a -2.0 because they thought i could correct it without glasses -.-). anyways, im really active and just the other day i fell down during track and cracked my glasses.i think genetically, i have bad eyes because as a child, i was always playing outside and i dont go on the computer or read that much, but my eye sight still plummetted and continues to drop.im hearing a lot of good things about the overnight correction lenses and my friend who wears them says that after 2 years of wearing them, her eyes have improved.
anyways, my question is, if i do decide to get them for sure, and i go to my optometrist, would i be able to get them without my parents' permission since im technically a minor? i have the money to pay for it myself, but my friend recalls that her mom signed everything.
i know this is kind of a dumb question, but i'm kind of an oversheltered kid…

Added (1). I dont want to wait any longer because my eyes are already at a -4.0 and even though i wear glasses 24/7 they're still getting worse.if they gtet any worse, i might not be able to get the correction lenses.
anyways, can you explain why they are rarely prescribed? D: i did some online research, most people seem to have a problem with discomfort while sleeping.i havent come across any serious medical side effect yet

Contact lens is SERIOUSLY stuck?

So I got my right eye out but my left is killing me. I am able to move it off of my center but it just keeps sliding and pressing against my eye. Yeah I've wet it; I've cried, that's NOT working! I think I've done some damage too because when it slides it feels like it cuts. This is my first day and I am doing horribly. How do I get the little devil out? If it helps I have a stigma so it's weighted.

How to find my contact lens eye power?

I was thinking about ordering some circle lens online; however, I do not know my contact prescription. I ordered lenses with a 0.00 power before but I want to be able to wear my lens without having to wear my glasses. I believe my vision is not too bad, I was wondering what my eye power for circle lenses would be from the choices the website lists from 0.00-6.00.

Do I really need toric lenses? - 1

I recently got contacts, and I hate them. I can always feel them in my eyes, and they move around a lot so my vision goes blurry, plus, my eyes get so dry with them as well.

I'm going back to the optometrist tomorrow (was supposed to be today, but had to reschedule) and will obviously be asking for something else.

I've heard really good things about both Air Optix and Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism, but obviously there are lots of options out there… so which would you recommend and why?

Or possibly, though I'm not sure my Dr.would be on board with this, try some non-toric lenses since my astigmatism is pretty mild (-.75) in both eyes.

What are Beyonce's real eye color?

I was looking at this website of celebrities' childhood photos. And I saw Beyonce's (Not knowing it was her) and I was like "Wow she's so pretty!" And I realize it was her, and her eyes in the photo were a blue/gray-ish color. And when I look at photos of her now, they're like a dark/light-ish brown. Don't call me stupid, I can't decide weather or not if she was wearing colored lenses. I mean it the photo the eyes look so natural on her (the blue/gray ones), unlike those fake looking ones I see on my friends were you can tell they're fake. I was just wondering thanks: D

Discomfort wearing Lenses the First time? (Circle Lenses)?

I got some circle lenses (from Geo, I checked the sticker and they are genuine.) I disinfected them for hours (as the lens solution instructed) in solution before putting them in, I checked that they were not damaged and that they were the correct way around (they were) before putting them in.
They fit on my eye and did not move around, but It was quite uncomfortable.My eyes watered and I kept blinking. I took them out after about 5 minutes.
Is this normal for a first time contact wearer? Will it stop If I get used to wearing them? Any tips?

Also when taking them out I worried that it was going to fall behind my eye and cause damage.Is this possible?
Is it usual to find it tricky to remove them initially? (I think I wasn't firm enough because I'm not used to touching my eye)
