Should i get daily contact lens or just the occasional l ones?

Im turning 16 next year february. I want to get daily, but the thing is i go to a single sex high school and theres no one to.impress? Everyone says i look a lot better without glasses and my face feels free without them too. But my dad thinks wearing them daily causes damage to eyes. Also he thinks that studying in school with them is bad and i might as well wear glasses.
Should i get lenses only for going out or for daily wear? Im stumped. I'd love daily but apparently its bad for eyes…

I'm wanting to try out red contact lenses for my inori(guilty crown) cosplay, but im like seriously worried bout taking them out than putting them on, i mean does it hurt: L odhtosdtg anyways to put them on without worrying

Contact lense lesson?

Hi, I'm 15years old, and ive been wearing glasses for about 5-6years now and my perscription is very strong cause when i take my glasses of i can't see anything its just colours blurs, so i've wanted contact lenses for ages to wear on specail occasions and somedays at school etc.so my mums booked me a contact lense lesson in Jan, I think i'll be okay puting them in just not getting them out. I'm just starting to panic abit but i really do want them! what happens at a contact lesson? what happens if i can't get the contact out?

Where is the best place to get coloured contact lenses?

I don't need contact lenses however I really want some colour contacts, I'm just wondering where is the best place to get them?

I'm from the North East so no places from London or anywhere South, or is there any good site online?
Also they can't be too expensive as it will be my Christmas money I use to buy them.

Could I possible have an astigmatism?

My stronger right eye sees sharper (close and far) than my left eye when not wearing glasses. Without glasses it's now seeing more blurry than my weaker, left eye.It's not a major problem and with both eyes open I am functioning just fine.It may have even been this way for over a year.

I don't usually conduct self tests so I don't know when this started. I go for regular check ups each year.My stronger eye usually has been consistently stronger with and without corrective lenses, so it's strange that this is now happening.

Could this be a mild astigmatism?

How to get rid of red, watery eyes?

I don't have any allergies. I thought it was my contact lenses that were bothering me (I've been wearing contacts for almost ten years) but I've been wearing my glasses for a week and they're still red. They get watery from time to time and I wake up with them being itchy and burning. Can allergy drops/medicine fix this even though I don't have allergies?

Exchange of contact lenses?

I bought contact lenses online and wanted to change it for my new prescription. What does it mean when the company person say they can only process an exchange the lens of the same or higher value? Does it mean i change it to a different product contact lenses?

Problem with my Rx on toric contacts, specifically the Cylinder number?

I am looking at buying contacts and I require toric lenses. I'm trying to order some online since I have my prescription on hand, however I've run into a problem when it comes down to the cylinder. The options for 'cylinder' go up in different increments than my Rx.My Rx requires a cylinder of -1.00 and -1.50, but the increments start at -.75 and go to -1.25, -1.75, and -2.25. Specifically I want to order either AVOT, or Biofinity.
