Do I need coloured contact lenses for cosplay?

I'm going to London Comic Con in May and planning to cosplay Ciel Phantomhive from Black Butler. I've already ordered my cosplay and my wig, however I'm not allowed to wear blue contacts in case they damage my eyes (I've never worn them before). Do I need to wear contact lenses to play Ciel or should I just keep my green eyes instead? (I've included a picture of the outfit I'm wearing too) Do I need coloured contact lenses for cosplay
