So after a year of non-use, I decided to start wearing my contacts again. The contacts still had about two years left on the expiration but now they seem to cause severe presbyopia. I know my eyes are getting older but this is a drastic change. I have myopia with slight astigmatism that isn t reflected in the contact prescription. Did my contacts wear out or is the fate of all contact users?
