Is it normal to 'feel' your contact lenses? (New wearer)?

Hi,
I got trial contact lenses about 3 days ago. Have been wearing them everyday for the recommended hours by my optometrist. I am going back next week, which is earliest I can go back for my check up, and to see how they are going.

I have a question I am curious about.
I have been cleaning them properly, placing them the right way and what not, but I can sort of 'feel' the contact lenses in my eye. They do not hurt, itch or anything, but everytime I blink I can sort of feel it in my eye.

Is this normal for new wearers or am I definitely doing something wrong?
