I live in Ecuador, and that's the reason I'm asking this question. I am asking this question to anyone living in a first world country.
What exactly did the eye doc do when he tested your eyes for your prescription?
For me, he put on this weird utilitarian looking set of glasses, except they had no lenses, and then he pulled out a tray with hundreds of lenses and had be look at the letters while he slipped different strengths into each lense until we got it right.
Why does that sound really old school to me?
Is that how the eye doc does it for you?
