Does lens thickness affect eye magnification (that is, make eyes look smaller in case of nearsightedness/myopia, or look larger in case of farsightedness/hyperopia), or power of the lens? For example, will the eyes look closer to the normal size for a -7 prescription with a high index 1.74 double aspheric plastic lens as compared to a relatively less powerful high index lens?
Also, which frames are better for high prescriptions so as to reduce the lens thickness? Smaller or bigger? Rounder or extreme-shaped? Rimmed or rimless?
