I will be visiting my optometrist sometime next week and I will be asking him for my eye prescription. For the past four years, he only gave me one prescription and I used that to get both my glasses and my contacts. However, I've been meaning to buy contact lenses online but the website was asking me to put specifics e.g. lens diameter, base curve and different axis that are different or missing from my original prescription. That's why I'm thinking maybe my optometrist gave me a prescription specified for glasses, not contacts. So, should I ask him for two prescriptions?
