What is the estimate time for safe usage of non prescribed, fashion use, contact lens?

I want to get some contact lens for my Halloween costume, but I hear stuff about eye infections (like 1 out of 500) I would like to wear them for about 6-7 hrs if it is safe enough to.

My Eye Contacts Are Blurry?

Well I had just gotten contacts about a week ago and I made sure I had followed all the instructions the optometrist had told me. But whenever I wear them they start off clear but then turn very blurry, I ve worn them about 4 or 5 times. What should I do? I would like to start wearing them full time.

Why you order contacts online, how come you can t enter a different number for the BC and Dia?

I m new to contacts and the pair my doctor gave me, bauche and lomb ultra, are $60/box of 6. I wear a pair for 30 days and then throw them out. When I look for a cheaper brand, the BC and Dia are off a tiny bit. Does this small amount matter? They re only off by.1 or.2. I looked at acuvue oasys specifically. They re 1/3 of the price. Please help me:(

I suffer from severe myopia. Help?!

I'm like only 14 and I already have -3 and -3.5 in my eyes. My mom is always like", Hey c'mon. Don't do computer. Nobody's ever gonna marry ya with those huge ugly specks of yours. " im really scared about that and on top of it, i want, idk why, a wife/girlfriend like Anne Hathaway. I idolize her! Anyway, how can my eyes like get better? Please Help!

What does it mean when a product is on 'back order'?

So, I went to the eye doctor and had an exam and also my eyes dilated. This was two weeks ago. And I ordered some contact lenses because all the eye glasses fall off my nose no matter what kind. So I have used contacts before but it has been a while since I haven't. My eyes are both -5.50 in the prescription. The lady there did not give me any trials and charged me 54.00 plus tax for each box. Well two days ago, she called me and told she had to charge me more for the boxes. Its acuvue for astigmatism. I went in again and paid. Today she called again saying that the contacts were on back order. I asked her why. She told me that she didn't know for how long they were going to be on back order. That it could be a week, a month a year, ten years. So I asked for my money back and she said impossible. But what does back order mean?

Can I wear two contacts in one eye? - 1

For halloween, I'm getting colored contacts for my look. I wear daily contact lenses, & the halloween contacts are not available in prescriptions. Would it be possible to wear one of my daily contacts with the colored one on top of it? Is that safe?

I'm a 23 year old Ghanaian female and I am a good girl because I don't smoke, I don't drink, and I don't do drugs. I don't have any STDs. I graduated High School and obtained a Diploma. I have never been in a relationship or marriage before in my entire life. I have never been arrested before. I don't have a criminal record. I don't have any tattoos on my body. I don't wear nose rings or tongue rings. I don't wear fake nails or nail polish. I don't wear contact lenses. I don't go to parties or clubs. I don't bump and grind on guys. I don't twerk and I don't swing on poles. I don't wear thongs. I don't strip or give guys lap dances. I don't call guys on the phone to have phone sex. I'm not a gold digger. I don't makeout with guys in public. I don't rough play with guys. I don't wear high heel shoes and revealing clothes with an intention of getting guys to check me out. I like to cover myself because I respect myself. I don't follow the crowd or try to fit in. I like to follow my own lead and stand out of my peers. I don't hang around bad friends. I am not pressured by my peers because I know right from wrong and I won't allow them. I remained true to myself. I am unpopular and I like myself just the way I am. I will never change myself for anyone. What is so cool about being popular? Popular people aren't any better than me and you. They are human beings just like me and you. I'm not materialistic and I wear what my parents can afford. I am content with what I have.
Added (1). I know that I am doing the right thing by now having any friends. Because two many friends are bad. I did a good thing by following my own lead and remaining true to myself. I know that I am doing the right thing by living a righteous and clean lifestyle. They say that when good girls die they go to heaven and when bad girls die they go to hell. When I die I want to go to heaven. And the way to heaven is by not taking part in worldly things or lusting for sexual immorality and material desires.

Can I wear non-toric lenses for Halloween? (I have astigmatism)?

I would like to wear a pair of novelty lenses for Halloween, but I have astigmatism. I've seen all kinds of answers, so figured I'd stop looking and just ask.

My prescription is:
Left: -2.00 -0.75 x 110
Right: -2.25 -.075 x 90

I know that I'm on the line for needing astigmatism lenses. However, when I got my prescription, I actually walked out wearing the L eye as a non-astigmatism lense because they didn't have mine in stock. I honestly didn't even notice a difference when I switched the next week. And added to that, my R eye is between strengths, so I've gotten used to everything being a little fuzzy for a few years now on that side.

With this in mind, can I order novelty lenses in my strength (just non-toric), and be ok? Is there anything I should be aware of if I do so?
