Are these glasses socially acceptable?

I want contact lenses so bad, but I can't get them. Don't ask, ugh.

Can you give it to me straight: Are the glasses I'm describing kinda weird considering that I am a teenager? They make me look mature. Should I get 'em?
… I'm not really up with the current fashion crap.
