How would one go about designing special effects contact lenses?

I have an idea for a design, and I think people would really enjoy it…it would work in so many different arenas. I am also going to copyright the idea. I have been looking online for laboratories that help with prototyping and manufacturing, but have been unsuccessful. I have only encountered companies that make custom lenses but they keep the rights to the individual's idea…I did contact them with my question (on the off chance they might know, or be willing to point me in the right direction) and with the exception of one company, all of the others were extremely rude to me. I would really appreciate any help!:)
