I fell asleep with my contacts but I cant tell if theyre still in?

When i woke up this morning my eyes were extremely uncomfortable. Im almost certain i didnt take my contacts off last night and i can tell i fell asleep with them. Ive tried almost everything to get them out but i still cant even see them. I put some drops of opti free in my eye but nothing really happened. Ive searched in all corners of both eyes but i cant feel or see them. Are they still in or have they fallen out somehow? Again my eyes are really red (one more than the other) but the discomfort went away quickly and i dont feel anything in my eye. Please help thanks
