What's the best eye drops if I wear contacts? Also can I wear contacts all day long?

I just got contacts recently but forgot to ask my optician about this but is there a certain eye drop I need to get or can I just use any eye drops when my eyes are dry? I use Opti-Free solution to clean my contacts but I'd think I need something different to use as eye drops. Also would it be alright if I wore contacts all day long and I just take them off before going to bed? Sometimes when I am off from work I mainly go on the computer all day long, sometimes up to 20 hours just sitting there playing games, surfing the internet, etc.
