Hi,
I have an 11 year old Lhasa who has ulcerative Keratitis.It seems as if his lens has ruptured and has an eye pressure of 85. I now have him on both topical and oral medication. The vet recommends we remove the eye to relieve the pain. I feel that idea is excessive.Is the removal of the eye necessary? will leaving the eye cause problems with the other eye or any other health defects? Has anyone had any experience with this? Thanks.
