I read this somewhere:
Glasses do not heal your eyes - they simply allow you to see. The eyes have muscles in them that shift to help you focus on what you're looking at at various distances. However, wearing glasses keeps your eyes in a permanent state of focus that will eventually stiffen those muscles (even changing the shape of your eyeball), making it difficult for them to move properly so your eyes can focus on different distances - this is why everyone's lens prescription gets stronger over time; dependency.
Is that true? And is it the same with contacts?
Thank you!
