Regular contacts for astigmatism?

I regularly wear contacts for my astigmatism but my last pair ran out a while ago and they are quite pricey. At the moment, I'm paying out for a lot of things and I know my eyesight is important but it's not a problem for me to wear my glasses regularly. But, next week I have an occasion to go to where I would like to wear contacts.So, my question is, how should I adjust my prescription for regular contacts?
I have looked online and I can get a months worth of dailies for £12.50 which will do until I can get my correct lenses.
My prescription is;
R - BC: 8.7 D: 14.0 Power: -6.5 Cylinder: -0.75 Axis: 20
L - BC: 8.7 D: 14.0 Power -4.5 Cylinder: -1.75 Axis: 160

Any help? Should I up the powers or just order them as normal?

I'll go back to my regular contacts soon, this is just for the short term and my prescription is valid:)

Glasses conversion into contact lenses? - 1

My right eye's eyesight is -6.00 and my left eye is sph -5.00 cyl 0.50 axis 180". What number will they be converted into contact lenses?

Ultrasonic Contact Lens Cleaner. (Lenspod)?

I have bought one of these units and I don't think it is working, the lights come on and the timers works ok. But can anyone tell me how I can test it. Since after a few days of using it I get sore eyes.
I have tried several times to contact the firm name who appears on the box but they choose to ignore all communications.

Toric Contact Lenses Blurry?

I just got Acuvue Toric lenses 2 days ago… First time wearer

I"ve been finding that at times my vision is fantastic and at other times they seem blurry.

There are 2 tick marks (6-12) on each lens, but i heard it doesnt matter how you put them in, because it eventually corrects itself.

Why is my vision sometimes blurry? Does it matter how I put them in?

Are you allowed 2 wear contacts when you swim?

I am going 2 swim a lot during the summer and it is blurry when I don't have my contact lens in.Am i allowed 2 wear them in the water? My doctor told me you should not get them wet, but I want 2 c when I swim. Please help.

Can I use contact solution for my nose piercing?

I ran out of h2ocean and I don't have money to buy sea salt. I read somewhere that using contact solution can help the same as h2ocean. I have the opti free replenish solution (has sodium citrate, sodium chloride, sodium borate, propylene glycol) so would that be ohkay to use? If not then what else can I use minus sea salt?

Contacts lens problem? Help help! Urgent!

My eyes feel dry and irritated often?

I tried using biomedics 55 and softlens 66. The dry and irritate eyes get back after a few days even changing a new pair.

I wanted to try Acuvue Oasys with HYDRACLEAR™ PLUS, but its way over my budget!

Is Acuvue Clear good for me?

My glasses prescription is slightly messed up?

I ordered my glasses online, and mixed up the Cylinder (astigmatism) with right and left.

My right eye has -4.25 sphere and -.25 cylinder
My left eye has -3.75 and -.5 cylinder, however, i got the cylinder mixed up for the two lens (so left has -.25 and right has -.5). Will this affect my vision strongly in any way?
Added (1). But it's only a 0.25 difference, is it really that bad?

How to stop red indentations from forming on sides of nose from glasses?

I have tried changing the type of nose piece, added sticky foam pieces (that don't work). I am on the verge of trying plastic glasses with no added nose piece. Any ideas appreciated.
