How long should contact lenses soak the first time?

I just got new circle lenses for a cosplay, and I can't figure out how long to let them soak in the solution the first time before trying them on ): I've been searching online but all that comes up is how long to leave them in Your eyes. I thought it was about 6-8 hours.

Am I close?

Added (1). Thanks for You concern, but there are many things that can ruin eyes and anything can hurt the body. Smoking kills, but who is going to stand up against tobacco in this country. I'm not a beginner with lenses, as I wear them now, but I just need to know how long I need to soak them as I can't remember. Most people who complain about circle lenses and getting damage to their eyes are the ones who accidentally sleep with them, don't clean them daily, or dry their eyes out.

Can you wear contacts during an MRI?

I'm getting am MRI for my brain in like an hour, and I already know not to wear makeup, jewelry, or anything metal, but no one said anything about contact lenses. Are those okay for MRIs?

How long do I soak my contacts?

I recently ordered a pair of colored contact lenses on PinkyParadise and I waited almost a month for them to come in and they finally came in today. When I got them I dumped them out and washed them with opti free. Then, put a good amount of that also in the case. I hear that you have to let newly opened contact lenses for almost a day before using them. I wanna use them now? I just put them in and I told my mom that I was gonna just try to put them in my eyes here in about 2-3 hours. Is that good enough? Yes, I know. Soaking for at least 4 hours is a good enough span to get all the junk and what not off of the contacts but, wouldn't soaking them for at least 2-3 hours be okay?

Is there any job I could do in the military?

I've always wanted to join the military but I have never been able because I have a vitamin deficiency that means I have to take a daily dose of biotin.

On top of that I suffered some sight loss before I was diagnosed and although with contact lenses or głassess I have 20/20 vision I still have some sight loss.

Looking at the the fitness requirements for the army, it doesn't specifically say I would be excluded from joining for that but under other conditions it does say "Diseases requiring long-term medication or replacement therapy." So basically I am excluded from joining because I have to take a daily dose of biotin even though it's only I vitamin and I assume it would be the same for the other branches oft he military.

So is there any job I can do in the military at all that's not just office/paper work as a filing clerk or administrator.

Eyes burn after cleaning contacts?

Ok, so I have gas permeable lenses that I have to wear overnight to correct my vision (dream lenses) and once a week I have to clean them with the red capped cleaner. I clean them and rinse them throughly but even though I wait 10 hours after cleaning them to wear them again they burn my eyes when I put them in, and the burning does not go away. The next day the burning is less extreme and I can stand to sleep in them again. So my question is why is this happening? I have tried more than one brand of it and it is still causing problems… (happening for about 3 months now) Should I ask my eye doctor about whats causing this?

Americas best bait and switch scam? - 1

Ok so I got an eye infection a while ago and decided to get glasses instead for work. Americas best advertised two pairs or reg.plastic lens glasses with single lens and a free exam included for $70! It sounded great and I had the exam picked the frames then the guy takes out a calculator! I declined all the add ons and he still said it came to$240! I fought it and did walk out with the two for 70 but he was trying to tell me the lenses were a seperate cost and they ARE included. I read all the fine print. He also kept trying to upgrade the glasses so that Id void the conditions of the deal. Be careful and know exactly how much it should be cuz those people are like used car salesman!

Do I have astigmatism?

I have a ghosting out of my left eye, like when I watch tv and there's white scrolling thing like let's say sports scores on espn there's like a ghosting coming out of the words and scores, what is this? I have -6.50 in my right lens and -6.00 in my left lens
