Can I be a chemist in this situation?
The thing is that I have -9 vision and so I need my glasses on all the time. But I've noticed that chemists often wear protective glasses.Anyone here in the same situation? If yes what you would recommend? Btw I've never used contact lenses and dont know if I ever will so, any suggestions? Thanks

I saw my ex-crush and she asked for my number?
She wasn't interested with me and called me a stalker and a creep when we were 12, because she didn't like my personality and thinks I was stalking her, and now today, at the age of 15, we saw eachother at a mall and she asked for my number. I use to be fat and nerdy and today I have 4 pack abs, wearing contact lenses, and part of the army cadets. She seemed nice and she has fking hot ****. But I remembered she called me a stalker and a creep which was probably one of the most terrifying moments in my life. Should I go for another chance, or reject her?

Blurriness with contacts?
I just got contacts yesterday, and i feel as if my prescription isn t correct. Everything is just the slightest bit blurry. As I am typing this question, the computer screen looks a bit fuzzy and when i look down at my phone, its a bit fuzzy. I don t know if its because my eyes are still getting used to wearing contact lenses or if my prescription isn t correct. Is this normal?

Should I get my eyes checked again?
I go to costco for my contact lenses and I am almost out of contacts ( i got 3 months worth). I find that I am squinting and some stuff is hard to see again however i don't want to order another box of contacts if they are not strong enough anymore. Should i get my eyes examined before i order the box to see if they changed? Also i get my glasses from my eye doctor but i am not due for an appointment yet. Could i just get examined for my contacts and then in a year go back to my eye doctor? My prescription is not too strong. Im 17 thanks.
Added (1). i have only had this prescription for 3-4 months
Added (2). and i mean get examined for contacts at costco then go to my eye doctor when i am due in a little less than a year

What requirements do I need to get a job in a Disney park as a face character?
I'll soon be completing college and having visited disneyland and world several times as a child/teen growing up. I'd like to work for sometime in Disneyworld or land as a face character. I'm looking forward into a prince role and I'm thinking of prince Eric. I grew up watching Disney movies and had a huge crush on Ariel as a kid. Haha
So what are the height, weight, age requirements, appearance, needed talents, personality, can I choose the character, and how long (years?) can I work as the character?
I'm 6''0 feet, well built body (I dance, workout, eat right to pretty much stay in shape), I'm fair skinned, with black hair and amber eyes. So I'll have to, cut my hair short (my hair comes till my shoulders and its normally tied in a tight single pony, I believe I have to wear the wig? ) shave my beard and wear blue eye lenses to fit Eric's look. I'm 23, soon turning 24.
I can dance, perform gymnasium, sing (I know most of the Disney songs) and I'm good in imitating characters and interacting with people, I've taken part in school and college sports, plays, dances and shows and have been active in the college fests.
Any advice would be appreciated! So I can take it into account, when I actually plan into getting in an audition soon.
I will check out the website for auditions schedules and other information, but the simple and most important information, of you which know would really be appreciated, espcially if you are working/have worked at the park. Thank you. :)

Is my eyesight good enough for the Parachute Regiment?
So I'm British if you didn't already work it out. I am already in the Application process.
So when I got my prescription paperwork from the opticians, I was happy that my eyesight was good enough to join the PARAs, I think my left eye was 2.50, and my right eye was 2.75, the standard for the Army is 6.00. This was a few months before I started my application.
So about December time I received my medical form through email, I printed it out and realised I had to take a visit to the opticians, so I went to see the optician, who said he had done this before and he knew the Army standards.
So luckily I didn't have to have another eye test, as it wasn't time, he just filled the form out for me. When I was talking to him he was asking me about my job choices etc. He then went on to say that usually when you go for an Army medical, they like you to be able to see the third line down on the board without using glasses, and here's the problem, I can barely even see the giant A at the top of the board.
I didn't think this would be a problem as my optic strength is pretty weak compared to the standards, and in training and out on patrols, I was planning on wearing contact lenses anyway, so I can see perfect and spot enemy targets from distances, and then wear my glasses when not doing any of the above.
Would this be okay and would I pass my medical?

How to manage to wear contact lenses?
So I have been wearing glasses for a while, but I really don't like wearing them, so I want to start wearing contacts. The problem is that I have tried it before, about 6 months ago, but I wasn't able to put it in because I was blinking. Also I felt a bit under pressure because the eye doctor was watching me. So how can I make my eye stop the blinking? Also, do I have to look straight into the lense while putting it in? Because I've been practising by touching my eye, and I don't blink if I look up.
