Acuvue 2 vs, Acuvue Oasys vs Acuvue Advance contact lens?

I've worn Acuvue2 contacts for about 5 years now, but because I work at the computer often, my eye doc recommended I try both the Acuvue Oasys and Advance lenses because my eyes dry out. Does anyone wear any of these lenses? What are your thoughts on these contacts? Thanks.

I Really need Chemistry help: Gas Laws?!

I have struggled with gas laws for some time, so if anyone could help me with these questions, I would be forever grateful. I've done 12 questions so far for practice, but need help with the last 6… So either breaking it down for me + answer, or just giving me the answer and allowing me to work backwards is acceptable!
Added (1). 1. A 34.0-L cylinder contains 369 g O2(g) at 23.3°C. What mass of O2(g) must be released to reduce the pressure in the cylinder to 5.21 atm, assuming the temperature remains constant?
Enter your answer with **3 significant figures.**
Added (2). 2. What is the density of CO2 gas (molar mass, 44.01 g mol-1) at 21.2oC and 131 kPa? Give your answer in grams per litre (g L-1), accurate to **three significant figures.**
Added (3). 3. Carbon monoxide, CO, and hydrogen, H2, react according to the reaction below.
2 CO(g) + 5 H2(g) --> C2H6(g) + 2 H2O(g)
What volume of the excess reactant remains if 18.6 L CO and 32.2 L H2 are allowed to react. Assume that the volumes of both gases are measured at 735oC and 1.19 atm.
Give your answer in litres, accurate to **two significant figures.**
Added (4). 4. Hydrogen peroxide, H2O2, is used to disinfect contact lenses. What volume of O2, in mL, of O2(g) at 36°C and 741 mmHg can be liberated from 50.0 mL of an aqueous solution containing 3.00% H2O2 by mass? The density of the aqueous solution of H2O2 is 1.01 g/mL.
2H2O2(aq)â†Â'2H2O(l)+O2(g)
Enter your answer with **3 significant digits.**
Added (5). 5. Calculate the volume of H2(g), measured at 21.9°C and 769 Torr required to react with 36.3 L CO(g), also measured at 21.9°C and 769 Torr. Assume the gases react as follows.
3CO(g)+7H2(g)â†Â'C3H8(g)+3H2O(l)
Enter your answer with 3 significant digits.
Added (6). 6. When solid NH4ClO4 decomposes, a mixture of gases is obtained:
2 NH4ClO4(s) ---> 4 H2O(g) + Cl2(g) + 2 O2(g) + N2(g)
In an experiment, 4.56 g NH4ClO4 decomposes completely in a rigid 5.00-L container. What is the total pressure in the container if the final temperature is 229oC?

Give your answer in atmospheres, accurate to three significant figures. Do not include the units as part of your answer.

Molar masses
(in g mol-1)
NH4ClO4, 117.492
H2O, 18.016
O2, 32.00
N2, 28.02
Cl2, 70.90
Added (7). MAJOR POINTS FOR THIS!

Circle Lenses - Will it still be risky for me?

Hello!

I really really want to wear circle lenses for my cosplays and photoshoots but you do get a little scared when you google around and find people whose eyes has been damaged or they've even went blind.

Of course I will take proper care of them in the best way that I can and I will only be wearing them maybe 1 time a week (at highest), for 6 hours at MOST for photos. And I only keep my lenses for 3 months, then I throw them out and get new ones.

Also, can permanent damage come to your eyes from circle lenses in just a second, even if they've been feeling comfortable, or will you be fine as long as you take them out as soon as you feel discomfort?

Thank you!
Added (1). Also, do I have to check my base curve and so on first if I'm only going to use it a couple of times a month?
I feel like they may not fit me that good since I'm having a hard time getting them in. Rather, I get them into my eye but they plop out again as soon as I blink (I can see that it's not on properly, there's airbubbles underneath etc.). After maybe trying for halv an hour I can get them to stay put and it looks like they're sitting onto the eye as they should.

I have trouble taking out my contact lenses?

I'm 18 years old and new at contact lenses. I can put them in with, admittedly, a lot of difficulty, but not take them out. When I touch my eye, even when I hold my eyelid up, I blink rapidly which prevents removal. I had to get my sister to take them out for me. Does anyone have any tips for easier removal and/or application while we're at it?

How to remove stain from eye glasses?

My boyfriend was cleaning his glasses like he normally would. He didnt realize that his cloth had super glue on it until it got on his lens.

I removed the super glue with acetone but it left behind a whiteish-blurry stain from where the super glue was.

Is there any home remedies or any eyewear products that will be able to remove this type of stain?

Does Age really matter when it comes to LASIK? Did I get it too early?

Hello, I'm a full-time college student who just had LASIK done almost two weeks ago at the age of 21 (22 in early February). So far I'm very pleased with the results. At my initial consultation I was deemed an excellent candidate for LASIK but due to being on the "younger" side there would be a chance of needing further surgery down the road so it was recommended maybe waiting until i was 23. Being stubborn as I am and being tired of both contacts/glasses I elected not to wait a couple years and have it done now. Now I'm starting to regret my decision and and getting anxious about losing my great results from LASIK. Before my surgery, my prescription was stable for 6 years at -5.00. I understand that as we age, our eyesight tends to get weaker but I'm worried that I will need to use glasses and contacts again so soon for not waiting a couple years more. I plan on voicing my concern at my next post op appointment in 3 weeks. Would love some feedback.
