Is it normal for your vision to start shaking when trying to focus on things really closely?

Hi, I noticed that when I look at things or try to read something closely, less than 5cm away, my vision starts shaking, mainly my peripheral vision and especially when I wear my contact lenses (-3.75 prescription near sightedness). Is it this normal or something like nystagmus? I had an eye check up 6 months ago and he said my eyes were very healthy. Thank you

What can I do to fix my dry eyes?

I wear contacts and occasionally I get dry eyes. (Keep blinkng and rubbing them looks like I'm in thick fog) usually when they're dry its right after I wake up but right now it's because the room is stuffy and my a/c isn't working lol. The problem is, I have no eye drops and I can't take my lenses out because I have no solution to put them in. What should I do? I can bearly see trying to post this lol.

Changing power of contact lenses?

So my mother finally agreed to getting me colored contact lenses but my eyes have an astigmatism so they're hard to come by. I've found some toric (lenses made for astigmatism correction) so i entered my prescription information. The highest (lowest?) power (SPH) they had was -4 and I have a SPH of -5 on my lenses.

I was wondering if I could leave the power at -4 since A. The contacts i have now should have made my eyesight better or B. If the eyesight in that eye is bearable I'd still wear them. What should I do? Leae any suggestion or your opinion if you don't know please:)

I am wearing now proclear and they r are ok but hoping to find something better. Sometimes they feel like if I had a lil somethingin my eye. My doc already changed me from one brand to another but I was hoping to get some opinions. Thanx

Where can I get special effects contact lenses comfortable to wear for hours?

This Halloween I'm looking to purchase a single, standard black eye contact for my costume. I'll likely be wearing it to school, and the evening after. I spend six to seven hours at school, however I intend to remove the contact lens for another few hours before leaving to spend the evening with my friends- which can be anywhere from six to eight hours. My primary concern is getting a contact lens that won't irritate my eye over this time, if possible.

This will be my first eye contact ever purchased and worn, and I'm most definitely not wealthy enough to spend money on very high-end products. I also obviously need this lens by the end of the month.

Any suggestions?
