Does Laser Eye Surgery hurt?
Does it hurt? Any side affects? Chances if infection? Is it hard to keep looking straight during the surgery? Is there any additional answers I should know? Sorry for so many questions. I'm just really curious. I'm planning on getting it in the future. I'm tired of wearing glasses and contact lenses.

Right eye is worse than left eye?
i am short sided so i cant see far - i do have glasses but mostly just wear them at school, and the lenses are different, if i cover my left eye my right eye is really really bad and blurry and if i cover my right eye i can see fine with my left eye, i am right handed and mostly sleep on my right side - does this have anything to do with it? Should i start wearing my glasses more?

Those who speak English, can you help?
Hi
I am reading about an ophthalmic instrument and I donât understand the expression in capital letters. I am not a native English speaker. Explain this expression to me, please:
âPress the lens retainer since the lens is in contact with the lens support sideways.
LET YOUR HAND GO with the spectacle frame to prevent PD value shifting.â
Scarlett

Accidentally used clear care on circle lens in a flat case, are they ruined?
I used clear care in a flat case with new circle lens and let it soak 8 hours without realizing i used it. I haven't worn them but I rinsed the clear care out of my case and put the lenses in the same case with normal Alcon solution. Are they okay or are they ruined?

Will it harm your eyes if you touch them (with clean fingers)?
I've recently gotten contact lenses, and I was taking them out today. While I was doing so, the lens fell out without me knowing it, so I kept on attempting. I later realized that the lens wasn't in my eye and already fell out when my eye was turning red and hurting more. Is my eye harmed because I touched it so much?

Why are my contacts burning my eyes? - 1
I have been using the same contacts (Acuvue Oasis hydroclear) for 3 years and the solution Biotrue for a couple years. The last two days my eyes will burn at random times for a few minutes and then go away. This morning they burned for quite a while before it went down.

First time wearing contacts - feels like eyelash in eye?!
I purchased the Desio Lenses, I have 20/20 vision and have no problems in general with my eyes, and my family has no history of eye problems and all have near perfect vision.
I got these so I could change my eye colour as I have extremely dark brown eyes.
Any way, since I had never worn contacts before, I did my research, watched tons of videos and I eventually felt confident to do it!
Well, it sure was a struggle! Apparently it's much easier than it looks. I only practiced on my right eye as I didn't want to irritate both. After a solid hour and a half I finally got it in, but it did not adjust. I made sure it was as clean as possible but it just wouldn't adjust, it felt like I had an eyelash at the very top.
I put the left contact in first go and had no pain what so ever.
I'm scared that I scratched my cornea, but my mind is telling me I just irritated my eyes - as before I put in the contact my eye was itchy as all hell, so I rubbed it for a while.
I can't afford to see the eye doctor right now, so someone reassure me and tell me what else I can do!
Thanks in advance!
Added (1). I most definitely took it out! I'm starting to think there's some mascara in there (I was wearing some and forgot to take it off!) Thank you for your answer - I need to learn to love my dark eyes!
Added (2). I figured out the problem! So for any one who's reading and having a similar experience - my contact was torn, torn, torn! I was cleaning it when I noticed. If you have pain when you wear them, your contact is most likely torn!
